MOTHERLY LOVE
Milk got from Desi cows is very close to breast
milk. It is no wonder that the cow has been symbolised as the universal mother
in ancient, sacred texts. As per these religious scriptures, Kamdhenu is considered to
be the mother of all cows and is worshipped even today.
Even Ayurveda venerates Indian cows for their milk that is full of life-giving, and nourishing
elements that are essential for the human body.
Distinctive features of Desi cows:
Humped Back – Desi cows are characterised by humped backs which is embedded by the Suryaketu Nerve that is known to absorb the sun’s energy.
Dewlap – Desi cows also have a fold of loose skin called Dewlap, that hangs below the neck area. This Dewlap provides heat resistance and makes the cows adaptable to different environments.
